The Gulf of Saint-Tropez hasn’t always been the place we know,

The name alone conjures up images of holidays, sun, relaxation and rosé! The Gulf of Saint-Tropez hasn’t always been the place we know, where thousands of tourists come every year to discover its beaches, villages and events. Saint-Tropez is first and foremost a village that the Italians made with the sweat of their brow, and where fishing and cork work were the main occupations of its inhabitants.

“To tell you the truth, I never thought that one day I would live or work here, and yet I’ve been living here since 2018 and I feel very much at home. Why is that? Because after the summer months, the Gulf regains its calm, the locals take back possession of the place and are welcoming and caring. It’s also because during the high season, the Gulf comes alive with tourists from all over the world, of all styles and nationalities. And for the former globe trotter that I was, it’s a pleasure to find a little exoticism in a more sedentary life by welcoming visitors from all over the world. So, yes, there are well-known places like the beaches of Pampelonne, the village of Saint-Tropez, the Café Sénéquier and the Tarte Tropézienne, but there are also lesser-known places that I love to share with you.” Sonia,

Pampelonne Beach, Ramatuelle,

The Plage de Pampelonne is probably one of the most famous and popular beaches in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Stretching for almost 5 kilometres, this sandy beach attracts celebrities and holidaymakers from all over the world. There are numerous beach clubs, trendy restaurants and bars, such as Club 55 and La Réserve à la Plage, as well as water sports facilities.

The Bay of Pampelonne embodies the casual elegance of the French Riviera, where luxury harmoniously blends with the simplicity of seaside living. Every corner of this bay enchants and captivates, making each visit a memorable and enthralling experience. Whether indulging in relaxation, savoring exquisite cuisine, or getting lost in natural beauty, the Bay of Pampelonne provides a sunny retreat where one can escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse oneself in the brilliance of the Mediterranean.
