A Pointu tour with Beyond The Wine for the journalist from Allas Magazine,
On a beautiful sunny day, we had the pleasure of welcoming Swedish journalists on our traditional fishing boat called “pointu” for a tasting of wines and desserts from Provence.
Journalist ANGELICA JAAKO BILENMAN did us the honor of appearing in the June 2025 issue to recount her experience with us as we set sail from Port Grimaud towards Saint-Tropez.
On board, we introduced her to some of Saint-Tropez’s most emblematic wines. We tasted a sparkling wine from Cave Torpez, a rosé from Ferme des Lices and the famous Rosé Et Or from Château Minuty. We accompanied these wines with a Tarte Tropézienne and delicious desserts by Cyril Lignac.
Here is an excerpt from our appearance in the magazine:

AU GOÛT DE PROVENCE,
« But today we’re taking a different kind of coffee break, the French way. We’re setting sail from Port Grimaud, the beautiful port town just a stone’s throw from Saint Tropez, on a traditional Provençal fishing boat.
I ask our British captain Mike Morgan how much a house here costs, and he tells me it costs several million crowns. Bardot named You have to keep sighing. But not when it comes to coffee. At the same time, Sonia Ferchaud from Beyond the wine, a company specializing in vineyard tours, picks up a box of pastries from the famous local patisserie La Tarte Tropézienne, named after their Tropézienne specialty.
We’re at a wine and pastry tasting, on a boat in the Bay of Saint-Tropez – life on a stick, as gastronome Edward Blom would have said. »
Our thanks go to Isabelle Demarthe of the Communauté de communes du Golfe de Saint-Tropez and Charline Letailleur of Var Tourisme, partners in this issue of the Magazine.
