Chemin de la Tour, 83310 Grimaud, France
Explore the vineyards of Grimaud and the Maures forest on horseback through the vines! This activity near Saint-Tropez is accessible to all, no level required.
One of the most enjoyable ways for nature lovers to discover the vineyards.
Before it became so famous, the Gulf of Saint-Tropez was a place where mainly farmers, wine-growers and fishermen lived. By joining this tour, you’ll not only enjoy a break in the fresh air, you’ll also experience a part of the Gulf that hasn’t changed much: away from the crowds, authentic and 100% made in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez!
During this walk, your guide will tell you all about our wine region and the Massif des Maures, one of the wildest and most typical areas of Provence. Enjoy the scenery, look out for Hermann’s tortoises, one of the few land tortoises still alive and protected. Take souvenir photos of this unique experience and whistle along to the sound of your horse’s hooves. At the end of this ride, you’ll be offered a tasting of 3 wines at Domaine Les Clos Servien* (a 5-minute walk away, (fruit juice for children).
*Domaine Les Clos Servien: With the help of his father, Pierre-Gilles, Charles Henri Servien gives all his ebergy to his passion for rosé on the beautiful terraces of this vineyard, which now bears his name. A 10-hectare estate. Provided the estate is open and still has wine, otherwise a glass of wine will be offered in the vineyards.
