One of the most enjoyable ways for nature lovers to discover the vineyards.

Before it became so famous, the Gulf of Saint-Tropez was a place where mainly farmers, wine-growers and fishermen lived. By joining this tour, you’ll not only enjoy a break in the fresh air, you’ll also experience a part of the Gulf that hasn’t changed much: away from the crowds, authentic and 100% made in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez!

 

During this walk, your guide will tell you all about our wine region and the Massif des Maures, one of the wildest and most typical areas of Provence. Enjoy the scenery, look out for Hermann’s tortoises, one of the few land tortoises still alive and protected. Take souvenir photos of this unique experience and whistle along to the sound of your horse’s hooves. At the end of this ride, you’ll be offered a tasting of 3 wines at Domaine Les Clos Servien* (a 5-minute walk away, (fruit juice for children).

*Domaine Les Clos Servien: With the complicity of his father, Pierre-Gilles, Charles-Henri Servien gives free rein to his passion for rosé on the beautiful terraces of this clos, which now bears his name. Domaine Les Clos Serviens is a small, authentic family estate. It boasts around ten hectares of vines, and enjoys an excellent reputation in our region. Provided the estate is open and still has wine, otherwise a glass of wine will be offered in the vineyard.

Horse-riding with a certified instructor, accompanied by a wine expert, tasting at the end of your ride.

If you would like a ride outside the timings offered or privately run, please send us your request via the contact form (subject to availability of the Ranch and for a minimum of 4 paying people).

Beginner level, from age 7 (minors must be accompanied by a parent).

For your comfort, we advise you to wear trousers and closed shoes. Your instructor will provide you with a helmet, which you must wear.

Beyond The Wine reserves the right to cancel the departure if our minimum of 4 participants is not reached. The departure is also subject to weather conditions. In the event of cancellation for any of these reasons, the tour will be refunded.

Transport not included. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the tour. Traffic may be heavy in high season. Free parking on site.
