We offer a wide selection of wineries in the heart of the Coeur du Var vineyards, whether you want to discover organic wineries, wineries run by women, historic wineries, etc. Your preferences will guide us in selecting the wineries you will enjoy during this excursion. The Coeur du Var, located at an altitude of around 300 meters, is known for its elegant, light wines and schist soils. Part of the region has been awarded the AOP Côtes de Provence Notre Dame des Anges label, one of the five terroir designations of the AOP Côtes de Provence recognized in 2019.

 

Founded in the 13th century by the Knights Templar, the Commanderie de Peyrassol is an iconic estate in Provence, located between the sea and the Var hinterland. Surrounded by forests and vineyards, this historic site covers a vast area of land cultivated using organic farming methods. Renowned for its exceptional rosés, as well as its characterful whites and reds, the Commanderie de Peyrassol combines heritage, contemporary art, and winemaking excellence, offering a unique experience in the heart of Provence’s great vineyards. You can also enjoy a meal on site.

Located in Cabasse, Domaine Gavoty is an iconic family-owned vineyard in Provence, passed down from generation to generation since 1806. The estate covers approximately 50 hectares of vineyards, cultivated using organic farming methods and producing AOP Côtes-de-Provence wines as well as IGP du Var wines.
Domaine Gavoty wines are distinguished by their fruity expression and finesse, with elegant rosés, aromatic whites made from Rolle (Vermentino) and structured reds. A true reference point for the Provençal terroir, the estate welcomes both curious amateurs and knowledgeable connoisseurs who wish to discover the richness and diversity of Var wines.

Our expert guide to the region’s wines will take you on a tour of the Coeur du Var region from the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Over the course of a full 8-hour day (subject to change), we suggest visiting 3 wineries with tastings of 9 to 12 wines (depending on the winery) throughout the day.

Lunch can be arranged at a local restaurant or at a winery offering on-site dining.
