Read moreThis October marked a high point for wine tourism in the Var region, with several exceptional events as part of the Vignobles en Scène 2025 event. Three iconic locations, three unique atmospheres… and one common thread with us: a passion for wine, terroir, and sharing.
Under the sun of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, the Ranch de la Mène opened its doors to kick off this new edition. With a country atmosphere, leather boots, and western music, the cowboy spirit had come to the heart of the region!
But the event was not just about partying: participants were invited to take part in a unique food and wine battle. Each appetizer bite created by Michelin-starred chef Thierry Thiercelin was inspired by the Vignobles & Découvertes Provence and Bandol regions. Each participant had to pair their appetizer with the right color of wine: rosé, red, or white… A gourmet and convivial challenge that celebrated the richness of the region while having fun.
A huge thank you to the Provence Wine Council, Var Tourism, Golfe de Saint-Tropez Destination, and Ranch de la Mène for creating this unique and welcoming event. Thank you also to the participating wineries: Château Barbeyrolles ; Château Saint-Maur, Cru Classé ; Château de Chausse et Domaine des Beaucas.
A few days later, we headed to the heart of the Var region for another unforgettable sensory experience. In partnership with the Cœur du Var Tourist Office, we hosted a wonderful wine and olive oil tasting at Thoronet Abbey.
Under the vaults of the refectory, a curious audience enjoyed a unique sensory experience. Two tasting workshops punctuated the day: a blind tasting of four rosé wines and four olive oils from the region. All are certified Vignobles & Découvertes.
Finally, it was at La Bergerie in Gassin, in the heart of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, that the last stop on our wine tourism tour took place. A charming location where visitors were able to discover the expertise of local winemakers. During this moment of exchange and authenticity, we were able to taste their wines.
This event highlighted the complementary nature of the Var terroirs: from the coast to the hinterland, each place expresses in its own way the diversity and quality of Provence wines. Olive oils from the Moulin du Val de Bois were also available for tasting and Éric Barnéoud was present for this tasting.
From Gassin to Le Thoronet via the Ranch de la Mène, Vignobles en Scène 2025 perfectly illustrates the dynamic of a region on the move, where tourism and viticulture go hand in hand. Through these encounters, Beyond the Wine continues its mission: to help people discover wine in a different way, by creating immersive, responsible, and human experiences. Thank you to all our partners, and to you for attending our various events!
