“As a fan of Provençal rosé since attending a cooking class when I was 21, I was delighted to meet Sonia Ferchaud. A former sommelier and the founder of Beyond The Wine, who conducts wine tours across the region in her vintage 1977 Citroën 2CV. We bumped along the roads to Val d’Astier. An estate lovingly curated by Bruno Seigner, a wine-maker from Burgundy. He surveyed in his domaine in bare feet, and then to try Côtes de Provence rosés at Château Saint-Maur, owned by Roger Zannier, the founder of Zannier Hotels. The children were welcomed heartily at both, and kept busy with colouring books, grape-juice and snacks from each host.” Harper’s Bazaar magazine
