Accompanied by your driver-guide, discover the area around Bormes les Mimosas and Le Lavandou. During this day, we will immerse ourselves in a tour between land and sea, from a vineyard surrounded by vines, olive trees and oaks to one close to the sea. Lunch is also available at Café Léoube, opposite the Pellegrin beach. Up to 8 people in a comfortable air-conditioned minivan.
From the Gulf of Saint-Tropez*, we invite you to discover the area around Bormes les Mimosas and Le Lavandou in the company of your driver-guide. Aboard our comfortable air-conditioned van, your local guide and wine expert will share his knowledge of the region with you.
You’ll start your day by discovering the organic Domaine Sainte-Marie. The estate dates back to the 18th century. At the time, the land belonged to the Chartreuse de la Verne, situated a little higher up in the Massif des Maures. Even today, surrounded by vines, olive trees and oak trees, the statue of the Virgin Mary hovers almost affectionately over the estate and its buildings. Marvel at the 40-hectare Sainte-Marie vineyard. Facing the south, the soil is sandy and permeable. You will be offered a tasting of 3 of the estate’s wines per person.
Lunch facing the beach,
Facing the beach, Café Léoube welcomes you for lunch: two starters to share and a main course (vary among the menu) will be served outside with your feet in the sand. You can also enjoy a glass of rosé from Château Léoube during your meal (other drinks not included). A wine-growing estate located in Bormes les Mimosas and a pioneer of organic wine in Provence, Domaine Léoube draws on its origins, captures its scents and cultivates its know-how a few kilometres from Saint Tropez, on one of the most beautiful protected sites in Europe.
The day continues with a visit to Domaine de l’Anglade, opposite Le Lavandou’s long beach. Owned by the Van Doren family for three generations, Domaine de l’Anglade is the only wine estate in the heart of Le Lavandou. Surrounded by pine trees and Provencal cane, the forty-hectare estate, including 18 hectares of vines, is set in lush greenery by the sea. You’ll be offered a tour of the estate, its history and the grape varieties on a short walk around the vineyard. A tasting (in the cellar or outside) of 4 wines accompanied by toast and tapenade and local goat’s cheese will round off your day in this area outside the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
On the way back, your guide will take you along the coast past Le Rayol-Canadel, where you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea (if departing from the Gulf of Saint-Tropez).
